Halloway Kane is a private consultancy operating from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Questions about these terms can be sent through our enquiry page.

Taking the working-style assessment is free. You agree to complete it yourself, in your own name, without assistance intended to misrepresent how you work. Sessions that fail our integrity checks, or that leave more than twelve items unanswered, may be invalidated without a score.

The assessment describes working style. It is not a medical, psychological or clinical instrument, and it must not be used as the sole basis for any employment decision.

Sign-in is by email one-time code. You are responsible for access to your own email account. Codes expire after ten minutes and work once; requesting a code for an address you do not control is prohibited.

Written reports, comparisons and team analyses are paid products. All prices are quoted and charged in US dollars at the price shown at the time of purchase. A report is produced for the specific profiles involved and is delivered to your account when generation completes.

Because each report is generated for you on purchase, refunds are at our discretion once generation has begun, except where the law of your place of residence provides otherwise. If a report fails to generate, we will regenerate it or refund it.

Result codes exist so a candidate can prove their bands to someone they choose. You may not scrape, enumerate or systematically query result codes, resell reports, or present another person's result as your own. We may revoke codes and close accounts that abuse the service.

The site, the assessment items, the scoring method and the reports are our intellectual property. Reports are licensed to you for your own use, including sharing within your organisation; they may not be republished or resold. The assessment instrument draws on public-domain IPIP scales; the instrument is ours, the underlying research is not proprietary to anyone.

We stand behind the rigour of our process, but hiring decisions are yours. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the site, the assessment or any report is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms as the service evolves; the current version is always published on this page with material changes noted on our insights page or by email. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
